Electronic conversion kit fits Prestolite V-8 point Chevy (GM) distributors, replaces both clip down cap and screw down cap prestolite distributors. With the new “Lobe Sensing” technology used in the conversion kits, a specialty rotor/magnet sleeve is no longer required. It picks the signal up from the lobed portion of the dizzy shaft that is below the rotor as it rotates.
